Monumental Conversations is a historical augmented reality (AR) tour to foster clear-headed, fact-based conversation about our shared past, present and future in Richmond and beyond. Made with and for Richmond Public Schools in partnership with the community, the tour centers under-told stories of Black resistance and resilience.

Advance the conversation
Envision the future. Monumental Conversations is a non-profit, community initiative to advance the conversation on the future of Monument Avenue and how we work together to eradicate systemic inequity in Richmond and beyond. The augmented reality tour provides student and public education along with on-going, project-based, digital art, music, storytelling and tech showcase opportunities for students, local artists, musicians, and the community. The initiative is supported through donations, partnerships and sponsorships. Get in touch to learn how you can support and participate in the initiative.
